Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making PolicySuite accessible to everyone

Last updated: 16 April 2026

1. Our Commitment

Sevenpoynt Ltd, trading as PolicySuite, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. As a compliance intelligence platform, we believe accessibility is not optional — it is a fundamental requirement of well-designed software.

We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

2. Standards We Follow

PolicySuite aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including:

  • Visual impairments (blindness, low vision, colour blindness)
  • Hearing impairments
  • Motor impairments
  • Cognitive and learning disabilities

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is referenced by the UK Equality Act 2010, the EU Web Accessibility Directive, and Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act.

3. Measures We Take

PolicySuite takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Automated testing: We use eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y in our development pipeline to catch accessibility issues at build time, covering alt text, ARIA attributes, role usage, and interactive element requirements.
  • Contrast compliance: All UI colours are verified against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). We actively audit and fix contrast violations across both light and dark modes.
  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchies, landmark regions, ARIA labels, and semantic elements throughout the application and marketing site.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Focus indicators are visible and consistent.
  • Screen reader support: Content is structured to work with assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
  • Responsive design: The platform adapts to different screen sizes, zoom levels, and text scaling preferences.
  • Language attributes: All pages include proper lang attributes for correct screen reader pronunciation.

4. Conformance Status

PolicySuite is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We are actively working towards full conformance. Our approach includes:

  • Regular accessibility audits of new and existing features
  • Prioritised remediation of any identified accessibility barriers
  • Accessibility reviews as part of our development workflow

5. Compatibility

PolicySuite is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with screen readers
  • VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
  • NVDA and JAWS on Windows
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • Operating system high-contrast modes

PolicySuite is not compatible with browsers older than three major versions or Internet Explorer 11 and below.

6. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:

  • PDF exports: Generated PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader navigation. We recommend using the web-based view where possible.
  • Complex data tables: Some analytics dashboards with complex data visualisations may have limited screen reader support. We provide alternative text summaries where possible.
  • Third-party content: Some embedded third-party services (e.g. payment forms via Stripe) may have their own accessibility limitations outside our direct control.

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback on any accessibility barriers you encounter.

7. Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of PolicySuite. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
